Zoning
The Town of Wendell has in place an ordinance regulating the of use of land. The purpose of this ordinance is to accomplish a coordinated, balanced, and harmonious development of the land within the corporate limits and ETJ (extraterritorial jurisdiction) in a manner which will best promote the health, safety, morals, convenience, order, prosperity, and general welfare of the citizens of Wendell.

There are 13 zoning districts in the corporate limits and extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) of Wendell. These districts are listed below and are under Town Ordinance 154.030.
